![]() Adobe Media Encoder shows the source information in its summary as “Clip, name.mov, 1920×1080 (1.0), 23.976 fps, Progressive, …, 48000 Hz, Mono. Quicktime plays the ProRes file perfectly. I am not sure exactly what ends up in the output file, but I suspect that it’s just last matrix stereo channel and not the sound isn’t properly downmixed into stereo. I was successful with getting a variety of other outputs, but all of them have screwed up audio. I am trying to compress the ProRes 422 HQ file (8 channel) to MXF OP1a (2 channel stereo) with Adobe Media Encoder. I hope someone has encountered the similar situation and would point me to a solution. ![]() ![]() The problem has been driving me nuts for the past few days. ![]()
